LEAGUE STATISTICS (Regular season):

In the regular season, teams will be ranked by total points. If two or more teams are tied, standings will be

decided by most wins. If teams are tied the following formats will be used to determine team rankings.

TWO TEAMS

1)       The games the teams played against each other will determine the winner (team with the most points)

2)       If tied the goal spread against each other will determine the winner.

3)       If tied, the team with the most wins.

4)       If tied, the team with the least losses.

5)       If tied, the team with the least ties.

6)       If tied, highest average based on the following formula:

 ‘Goals for’ divided by ‘Goals against’

 Example: Team ‘A’ has 10 goals for and 5 goals against =2.00

 Team ‘B’ has 11 goals for and 6 goals against =1.83

 Therefore, Team ‘A’ will be placed higher in the standings.

7)       If tied, least goals scored in all regular season games

8)       If tied, most goals scored in all regular season games

9)       Most shut outs

10)    If tied, League Executive will determine winner.

 

THREE + TEAMS

1)       Team with the most wins overall.

2)       If tied, team with the least losses.

3)       If tied, team with the least ties.

4)       If tied, highest average based on the following formula:

 ‘Goals for’ divided by ‘Goals against’

 Example: Team ‘A’ has 10 goals for and 5 goals against =2.00

 Team ‘B’ has 11 goals for and 6 goals against =1.83

 Team ‘C’ has 14 goals for and 12 goals against = 1.17

 Therefore, Team ‘A’ will be placed higher in the standings.

5)       If tied, least goals scored in all regular season games

6)       If tied, most goals scored in all regular season games

7)       Most shut outs

8) If tied, the executive will make the decision regarding the winner.
