Player Eligibility
1) Players MUST have printed, signed & provided their correct Date of Birth on their respective teams ROSTER/WAIVER Form submitted to the League office at the beginning of the regular season.
AND
2) Players MUST have competed in no less then 8 games, including exhibition & regular season. Players are required to have legibly printed and signed their name to each Game Card that they participated in order to have received credit for the game.
AND
3) Players MUST be able to immediately provided valid photo ID upon request by League Staff in cases where their eligibility is protested.
PROTESTING PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
Any team wishing to lodge a formal protest for an illegal player or anything else related to eligibility
must do so before the start of the 2nd period of the game. The Team Representative must inform the
League Department Representative, and/or the Referee of his intent to protest. After the game the
team must immediately submit a fee of $150.00 (cheque not acceptable).
Should the team lose the protest, they will forfeit the $150.00 fee. The deposit will be refunded should the protesting team win the protest. League officials will review the circumstances surrounding the protest and contact the Team
Representatives within 48 hours. All decisions are final and are not subject to review/appeal.
The fee of $150.00 can only be paid by cash or credit card and must be in the hands of the League Executives
immediately following the game before the protest takes place.
NOTE: Teams may have a maximum of 20 players eligible for the playoffs. If a team have more then 20 players who have played the required number of games, the Captain is responsible for declaring to the League Office PRIOR to the beginning of the playoffs which 20 players will be eligible for their team’s ENTIRE playoff season.
All teams advance to the playoffs and a seeded 1 thru 4 based on regular season standings.
WIN= 2 points
TIE= 1 point
Shoot Out WIN= 1point
TIMEOUTS: 1 per team is PERMITTED in playoff games.
Semi Finals: 1st v.s. 4th – 2nd v.s 3rd (Winners of Best 2 of 3 advances to Finals.)
Finals: Semi-Final Winnner v.s Semi-Final Winner (Best 2 of 3 Format)
Best 2 of 3 FORMATS
Game #1 - 1st Period -3mins warm-up, 12mins play time (stop time)
2nd Period – 10mins (stop time)
3rd Period – 10mins (stop time)
OT – simultaneous single shooter sudden shoot-out (first goal differential declares winner)
Game #2 - 1st Period -3mins warm-up, 12mins play time (stop time)
2nd Period – 10mins (stop time)
3rd Period – 10mins (stop time)
OT – simultaneous single shooter sudden shoot-out (first goal differential declares winner)
Game #3 – If teams a tied in total points after the conclusion of Game #2, they will immediately play a full 10 minutes period, 5 on 5. Winner will be declared by the team scoring the most goals in the 10 minute period.
If teams are tied winner will be decided by a 3 player shoot out.
§ Teams will alternate shooters.
§ Home Team of Game #3 will decide whether to shoot 1st or 2nd.
§ Teams must declare their first 3 shooters before the shoot out begins. If teams are tied in shoot out goals after 3 shooters then the teams will continue alternating shooters 1 at a time until a winner is declared.
§ Team may select any player to shoot and as many times as they want after each team has attempted their first 3 shooters.
NOTE: Any player receiving a major/match or gross misconduct penalty in Game #2 will NOT be permitted to play in Game # 3
