The following is the PLAYOFF FORMAT for your Monday "B" Volleyball League:

Each team will play two weeks of round-robin (August 29th & September 12th). NOTE: Teams will be given the September 5th Labour Day Monday off as a high volume of teams have requested no games for this evening. Given the fact that it's important playoff games and not just regular season, we have made this exception for all teams). 

Teams have been broken into different pools based on their final regular season standings. Each team will play the three teams in their respected pool over the next two weeks. The following pools and match-ups are listed here:

Pool A
1 The Team
4 Beach Balls
9 Spankers
12 Crazed Gypsies

Pool B
2 Butterflies & Unicorns
5 Just in Time
8 Ballz Deep
11 Multi Ballz

Pool C
3 Sandy Boxes
6 Work in Progress
7 Ice Park Individuals
10 Suckatash Flash 

The top two teams in each pool will advance and be re-seeded for the Finals Tournament on Monday, September 19th. Each of the six advancing teams will receive three guaranteed games that evening to determine who advances to the semi-finals, and potentially the finals. The match-ups will go as follows (based on records from the two week round-robin):

1st - 4th, 5th, 6th
2nd - 3rd, 5th, 6th
3rd - 2nd, 4th, 6th
4th - 1st, 3rd, 5th
5th - 1st, 2nd, 4th
6th - 1st, 2nd 3rd

Top four teams will advance to the semi-finals. Those two winners will play in the finals. First to 25 (win by 2). This will detemine the League Champion.

In case of a tie anywhere throughout the playoffs between teams, the following tie-breaker will go as follows:

1) Head-to-Head
2) Most Wins
3) Least amount of points allowed
4) Regular season head-to-head record
