To Sunday "B" teams advancing to the finals:

I've had a couple of inquiries as to why the "1st place team and 2nd place team are playing one another this weekend for the semis".

Here is a look at the playoff format that will better explain this. Teams have been broken into two pools based on the final regular season standings:

POOL A:
1 Sandlot
3 No Glove, No Love
6 Boron Bros
8 I'd Hit That

POOL B:
2 Isotopes
4 Stingers
5 Boston Pizza Brutes
7 Big Mitts

Top two teams in each pool advanced. The semi-finals are then a crossover between pools:

1st Pool A v 2nd Pool B
2nd Pool A v 1st Pool B

Winning teams will of course advance to the Finals. I hope this helps clarify the match-ups for this Sunday guys. Good luck to all teams!
