The following is your playoff format for your Thursday Winter Hockey Season:

All teams will play three round-robin playoff games. Depending on where you sat during the regular season depends on who you play in the playoffs. Once the three week round-robin concludes, top FOUR teams will advance to the semis which will be played on May 3rd. (1 v 4, 2 v 3 match-ups). Two winners will play in the finals on May 10th.

In case of a tie in the standings, the tie-breaker will go as follows:

1) Head to Head
2) Most Wins
3) LEAST goals against
4) LEAST penalty minutes
5) Head to Head regular season record

In other words, keeping goals out of your net is the name of the game. A score of 2-0 is much better then a score of 12-5. Defence comes first!
